Aloha and welcome to the Puna UU web page. We are a small, lay-led "emerging
congregation" of about 25 Unitarian Universalists who have found their way to
this special place in Hawaii. We seek to provide an open, warm and supportive
community in which our members may pursue their own spiritual growth, engage in
lively, intellectually stimulating discussions, promote social justice for all -
and enjoy each other’s company at special events, like our monthly potlucks and
a summer picnic at the warm pond. We meet weekly on Sunday mornings at 10:15 a.m.
We believe that the search for truth and meaning is one we
explore together and is not dictated by dogma imposed from without.
Our beliefs are individually derived from our own spiritual insights and experiences, and from what we can learn from each other and from the traditions of the many religions of the world.
We find wisdom in many places, and we don’t believe there is a single "Truth."
You are most welcome to join us in our quest.
